Well, I finally got around to taking some pictures and to add to this blog. These are a few of the items that I had bought, just to give you a visual. From the top, is my Taiyaki pan, rice molds, and bento boxes.
(A Closer look at the Taiyaki pan. Can't wait to make these.. I'm really excited ^.^ ))
((Some closer looks at the rice molds. Sorry I don't have a picture of them out of their wrappings, but I'm far too lazy to go back now and take a picture... >.>; ))
Oh. And can I say thank goodness for the way the Japanese package their items? I mean, there can be no English instructions, but if it wasn't for the fact that they put easy to understand images on their wrapping, Japanese fanatics (like myself) would at times be at a loss for how to manage things.
Well, I probably won't be able to do much cooking until after thanksgiving (as we are going out of town...) But hopefully I will be able to get some actual bento pictures up.
The rest of the images can be found in the slideshow gallery.

Welcome to Hapi Bento
In the anticipation of expecting to receive a few packages in the mail soon, I have decided to start this blog.
See, the items that I bought from Amazon included: Bento boxes, Bento recipe books, rice molds, soy sauce bottles, and a few other items.
I am really excited, and can not wait for them to arrive in the mail :3
Bento: A Japanese term for 'boxed lunch'.
Thus, in this Blog, I shall be attempting to justify buying these amazing items, as well as share my journey into Japanese foodiculture (a word that I just made up) sometimes created with an American twist, and to just share some lunch ^^; .
